Default F1 Student Working on OPT and Want to Apply F2 for Wife

    Hi

I m working on OPT on Client site through a small consultancy company right now. I am going to apply 17 month OPT Ext this month. My first year of OPT Will expire in Feb 2011.Also My F1 visa Will expire in Sep 2011. I am going to my country in April 2011 to marry.
Is there any risk travelling with small duration of Visa left and What documents do I need to Travel to my country ? Also I have some confusion in my mind about bringing my wife to US.

I am not able to decide What Visa shall I apply for my wife F1 or F2.

    1. As my F1 is going to expire in Sep 2011 Will this effect the F2 of my Wife. Will US consulate consider my Visa or OPT Ext I-20. Is there any risk in it. How should i prepare for it ..I mean what are all the documents my wife would need to support her visa ? and what document i need to provide her ?

    2. I am also thinking of bringing her on F1 visa. She has already cleared the GRE for the graduate prog requirements. Can there be any problem later if she shows her marital status single while applying for F1.

    3. I have another question Can apply to renew my F1 visa. Is there any risk in it and If in case i do not get the renew Will I be able to come back and in any case Can they also cancel my F1 Visa as my program is finished.

Can you please me !!!!! I am so tensed from Visa rejection going on these days and risking my Career by going to my country.

    Thanks

Problems for lying about a material fact is an understatement. She can be permanently banned from entry. If she cannot enter legally at this time, she needs to do what is necessary to do so.

Which is more important : living in the US or your spouse?
