    Default Vandalism Charges

On October 31st (halloween) a few friends and I, threw ...let me emphasis that threw not shot, threw paintballs at a house. 4 out of the 7 of us commit this. Now the owner of the house, had an idea who it was so she called the cops and they arrived at my friends house, James Anderson (he didnt do anything). The lady is not pressing charges and the cops are.

I need help on two things.
    - first i have a record of vandalism, two very small things. One i don't know if it was even recorded.

    - second I was wondering if i should go to the local police, with the my fellow "accomplices" and tell them that we did it and have my friend not go to court for somehting he didnt do.

    - since i have a record and i go to court what is the worst possible charge that i could have??

    - should i stay low key and try and let it play out or what because all i want to do is not go to Juvi.

oh and by the way I am 15 and i live in massachusetts.

if you have any opinions please, PLEASE post. I thank you all greatly.

Sounds like to me (from your description) that you committed vandalism.

    Confess and pay the penalty.

All it was coming up with was the "lemon law" which deals with automotive vehicles.............i found this though....

"Probation is one of the most common sentences given to a juvenile criminal. Fifty eight percent of all juvenile sentences involve probation punishments. In fourteen percent of juvenile crime cases, the court orders out-of-home residential placement of offenders".

would i have a better chance of probation from that street.

what are my chances of going to juvi.

Just out of curiosity what made you throw paint-balls at a house? It doesn't matter much if you threw them or shot them as they can still do a lot of damage.

Either way I would fess up, as it was already suggested, why let an innocent friend get the blame for your wrong doing? That's not being much of a friend.

I also don't suggest putting real names out on the internet.

Whatever your friend is charged with? That's what you're likely to end up charged with.

I don't know we were just being stupid and it was halloween we thought we could get away, we would never actually go out and hurt somebody or do this on a daily basis. I think we did it just to fit in on that whole, high school mischevious sceme of things on halloween. Once again very stupid, and of course these aren't my friends actual names. Thank you for your imput so far.
