After 2011 release on "parole" technically only exists for those with life sentences or other serious/violent felonies. Everything else is "post-release supervision."
The revocation/sanctions are different for the latter. Post release supervision is not tied to the original prison sentence duration. Everybody is subject to up to three years of supervision though they may get released early. Sanctions are generally up to 6 months in county jail, not return to prison (and it matters not how much they served before release).
