You need to contact the court clerk, preferably in person, and find out what your options are.

What do you mean you "have no resources from being out of the state"??

I'll just add that if you went to court on a criminal matter without an attorney then you were foolish.

How are a bunch of strangers on an Internet forum going to be able to predict what a judge will do?

It was arraignment. My mother committed suicide recently and I had to pay for her funeral which wiped out my saved income and left me in debt. Shortly after this I lost my job. I currently have no income, no place to reside in the state the offense occured, and no transportation. When I say I have no resources necessary to complete the court ordered classes, I mean absolutely nothing. Ever hear of the expression you can't get blood out of a stone? Think of that.

It would seem that your intent is to tell me I'm being dishonest about my situation. What would I gain by such an action? I am a state away staying at a friends and the stay is a limited one. I am sure your imagination had the capacity to have come up with that without me needing to explain it though. If you can provide useful information, which is ultimately why I and everyone else has joined this site, than great..I would love to hear it and would thank you for being of value to me. If you only want to discredit me and try to make me out to be a fool than that speaks of how you like to use your time and quite frankly, aren't worth the keyboard you type with to me. Which one is it Mercy&Grace?

The Judge is not going to let you get off scott free. You should have thought about all of these things before you committed domestic violence.

Do you have a court appointed attorney ?

Do you plan to respond like that when the judge asks you the same questions? If so, then expect to get your backside handed to you in court.

I'm speaking to people that should be giving advice..not someone in control of selecting the punishment I should receive.

    Context. Context. Context.

I don't think that was a serious question.. more of a rhetorical one to try to make me realize it's important to be courteous to the judge. I know that. If it was a serious question than you and those like you are the reason they put the warnings on silica packets saying not to eat them. Hope I didn't offend you by the lack of a filter I have for internet forums.

Yes..Much to my dismay - I have a public defender. You are right I shouldn't have and certainly wish I didn't get myself in this mess.

You are going to get advice here based on legal reality. Legal reality is that one way or another you are going to have to obey the orders of the court or deal with the consequences for not doing so.

No that was a pretty legit question - you say you have nowhere to stay, no food, that you're basically destitute yet you have Internet access. Legit question to ask how you get on the Internet or other things but you can't get to court.

If you want the charges dropped you better figure it out. Where there's a will, there's a way.
