I agree you better tell your recruiter if you're in DEP (or whatever they call it now) or you've been in contact with one. They have to know. This most likely will affect your ability to enlist in the Navy.
You need to at least find a lawyer who does free consultation and find out your options. I very highly doubt in this environment of the military that you will get a waiver. I don't know how the Navy does it but you would definitely not get one in the Army right now.
Also leaving your daughter at a year isn't going to make much difference if you had joined now.
