No they aren't. They have to register but when you click on someone's name, it tells you what they are on the registry for. There are people who got put on the registry because they peed near a school or a park. So that's NOT the same thing as being a child molester. Also there are people on there for sex offenses toward adults. That's NOT the same thing as a child molester. Any sexual predator - whether the victim is a child or an adult - is a heinous person. But not all people charged with sex offenses are pedophiles or child molesters. There are guys who have been charged because the girl lied about her age. There was a story like a year ago about this 18 or 19 year old who had never really dated and he tried Tinder or something, met a girl. She lied about her age. They hooked up. He finds out she's 14. She AND her mother even told the judge "please don't punish him or make him register, I/she lied." The judge wanted to "make an example" out of him and using dating apps. I think he appealed it. I can't remember what happened after.
Did you know she was 14? That's much worse than what this guy in the OP did. How old were you? Obviously a legal adult. YOU would have gotten it in prison for sure, yes. A 19 year old and 16 year old? Probably not.
I never said that you can't find anything on Google moron. I said that when it comes to "what happens after probation" or "Can I still be a teacher?" Those things can differ based on the person. I said people have different experiences that might not apply to what is found on Google. Why are YOU even here?
