You are very lucky you did not have to register as a sex offender, being a registered sex offender would be very hard on your life, but also you did not go to prison for a sex offense because sex offenders have been getting killed in california state prison.

Even though im no lawyer i do have some knowledge in this situation. Because i to was once charged with this type of crime and got the charges dropped.

So the answer to your many questions.

• what happens after probation and the work program? Id advise you to google this
• is this going to affect me with colleges and work? Google this
• I was planning on being a teacher is that not possible anymore? You cannot become a teacher anymore, why would you want to become a teacher? You just had a relationship with an underage girl how would you conduct yourself around other teenage girls. Best bet is to go get an evaluation upon this matter
• can I get this erase or expunged? Google this
•who can see this charge and who can't?
Employers can see the charge anybody who will run your name will on internet sites will look this information up.
"Google this?" How is he going to find answers on this on Google? Every school is different and everyone's experience after probation is going to be different. Really? Why would he want to be a teacher? He, too is a teenager in reality. 19 is an adult and a teen. Is it possible he would try something with a teen student in his 20s? Maybe but I would hope he learned his lesson on this one.

It depends on what someone goes to jail as a sex offender. Most times in prison they go after child molesters. You didn't even really answer any of his questions though for someone who has "experience" in this subject and had charges dropped.
