Re: What If New Laws Ban My Guns?

Kinda the point. If things are going ok, I could make you laugh. Most people I know think I'm fun to have around.

Most people that know me also know I have strong ideas when it comes to taking...

Re: Being Stopped By The Police

Wow. Nearly had a siezure trying to read that...

I would say, depending on the area he was in and if it was a military post (ergo "Military Trail") and further depending on if there was training...
  3. Re: Detective Wants to Give Me a Warning in Person

Under no circumstances should you voluntarily talk to a Cop unless you are initiating the contact.

Otherwise the response should ALWAYS be, "I need to speak to my attorney and I do not consent to...

Weapons Offenses: Re: Carrying a Tomahawk in California

That's akin to asking how many fires a person has in their house when they tell you they have a smoke detector or a fire extinguisher.

The training argument falls under the same umbrella. ...
  5. Manslaughter: Re: Killing in Self-Defense Without a Carry Permit

I wouldn't necessarily be too concerned with the charges I'd face after using the gun in a defensive shooting; the fact that you lived through an incident where you were in mortal danger ought to...

    Weapons Offenses: Legality Of Tannerite

My question is, specifically, what is the legality of owning the unmixed components of tannerite?

    Anyone?

    I live...
  8. Drug Possession: Re: First Offense Marijuana Possession and Effect of Police Misconduct On Trial

That is a good point, but ultimately the choice to charge someone goes to the District Attorney, doesn't it?

The leeway that an officer offers when a person says absolutely nothing is a lot less...
  9. Drug Possession: Re: First Offense Marijuana Possession and Effect of Police Misconduct On Trial

And, interestingly, it's best if you don't answer any of a cops questions in the field either. The time for questions and statments is one where a lawyer is present. A good lawyer.

    Until then,...
  10. Re: Establishing Travel History Of An Officer On A Particular Date

One thing that might help, if you can afford it, is to have a good lawyer make the request on your behalf. This will probably cost a little extra, but it might be worth it in the long run.
  11. Re: Sheriff's Conduct and Complaints from Neighbors

Could it be that you have a problem with a tresspassing neighbor, and that's where the sheriff is getting his motivation to enter your land? Not neccessarily from the sheriff, but from a nosy...
  12. Burglary: Re: Breaking and Entering, and Possession of Lockpicks

    Dunno if this will help.

    Pennsylvania State Code.

Weapons Offenses: Re: Possession of an AK47

    I, for one, would say your sister is stupid for two reasons;

#1: When an officer has already stated that the firearm is illegal, to hide it becomes obstruction of justice. Bad news.

    #2: If...

Weapons Offenses: Re: Possession of an AK47

It's possible that you were buying the rifle from an informant. That, or you associate with a crowd whose "colorful" history and association with a bad crowd draws a lot of scrutiny from the police....
