Yes they were. I was taken to the police station, and my dad had to pick me up. They never gave him any papers or anything. They said he should be contacted by juvinale, that was like 6 weeks ago....
Ok so more than a month ago I got caught shoplifting 59.00 worth. O and I'm 16. I got a letter from the Wal Mart lawyers for 150.00, a civil fine. But they have not sent me anything about a hearing...
If you have not been caught then you probably will not get caught
If you were not caught, then you are safe. They can not identify you by camera, you are in the clear. But I warn you do not make it a habbit because you WILL get caught eventually, and yes it sucks.
I know that you are not going to be able to qualify for the diversion program because everything I've found you can not be older than 17 to qualify. I am in kind of the same situtation I was caught...
