  1. Re: Liability Concerns for Dpoa Who Sold a Boat That Might Have a Lien on It

You had to have put something in your reply that requires moderation. Either too much identifying information or a link or bad language, or something else against the TOS. I cannot see any more...
  2. Regulations and Procedures: Re: Building Permit a Neighbor Put Up a Steel Garage Snow Dumps on My Property

Boy, I really got that wrong. I really thought that there were 1000 pounds in a ton.
  3. Regulations and Procedures: Re: Building Permit a Neighbor Put Up a Steel Garage Snow Dumps on My Property

From what it feels like to shovel light snow.

Re: Reporting New Job to Medicaid

I think that you should ask your Medicaid caseworker about that. I know that once you start a job there is some period of time where you can still have Medicaid but I don't remember how long that is.
  5. Re: Liability Concerns for Dpoa Who Sold a Boat That Might Have a Lien on It

The Marina needs to prove that they have a valid lien on the boat. Not via a smart phone app, but via an actual hard copy.
  6. Re: Advice Needed About Splitting from Daughter's Mother

You might be able to convince a judge to order her not to move the child to FL. However there is at least some chance that the judge might allow her to relocate with the child or might not order her...
  7. Regulations and Procedures: Re: Building Permit a Neighbor Put Up a Steel Garage Snow Dumps on My Property

I can believe that heavy, wet snow could weigh 21 lbs per square foot. However, lets say that it only weighs 5 lbs per square foot. That still works out to 2800 lbs or 2.8 tons and that could still...
  8. Regulations and Procedures: Re: Building Permit a Neighbor Put Up a Steel Garage Snow Dumps on My Property

I don't think that there is going to be anything that you can do until there is some actual damage to sue him for. They gave him a permit.

Child Care: Re: Can I Get Custody of My Baby Sister

The fact that you tell your grandma and that she doesn't act tends to indicate that the situation is not as bad as you believe that it is.

Modification of Custody: Re: Modification in Wv After Just 30 Days

I agree with you. However, if dad got custody because the child had the idea that the grass was greener at dad's house, and that was the primary reason why custody changed in the first place, then...
  12. Sales Agreements: Re: Husband Sold My Car, Guy Stopped Making Payments, I Still Have the Title, What No

Some practical advise. Yes, you should have some concern about the buyer operating the car but odds are that the car is not running and/or the buyer only intended the car to be used as a parts car.

Modification of Custody: Re: Modification in Wv After Just 30 Days

Yes, she is going to petition because the child changed his mind.[/QUOTE]

Then the devil will be in the details...maybe even in the minutia. If I were mom, I would probably put the child in...

Debt Collectors: Re: Traffic Citation While in Italy

Unfortunately I am not sure that there is a clear answer to that at this point. They cannot do it if they cannot validate the debt. I know for certain that it is notoriously difficult to validate a...

Modification of Custody: Re: Modification in Wv After Just 30 Days

While I pretty much agree with the previous response, I would probably run it by a local family law attorney, just to be certain.
  16. Heirs and Beneficiaries: Re: Getting Copy of Deceased Mother's Trust in Mn

You did not answer the question asked, so I will ask it in a different manner. Why do you want to make sure that all amendments and changes are found?
  17. Calculation of Support: Re: How to Determine Legal Duty for Prior Born

Have you looked at the actual child support guidelines? (the written ones) I remember there being instructions somewhere on how to calculate that somewhere.
  18. Heirs and Beneficiaries: Re: Getting Copy of Deceased Mother's Trust in Mn

Being a prior beneficiary would not entitle you to the trust documents. Being an heir would entitle you to a copy of your mother's will perhaps, but not the trust. An exception to that might be if...
  19. Calculation of Support: Re: How to Determine Legal Duty for Prior Born

The online child support calculator for Indiana does that for you.

  20. Civil Rights Issues: Re: What Are the Laws Regarding Public Speaking in a City Like NYC

Generally yes, but if your crowd is going to be big enough that it might impede the rights of the public to use or pass through the area you might be required to get a permit first.
  21. Calculation of Support: Re: How to Determine Legal Duty for Prior Born

In the Indiana child support calculation that means that you include either child support you are already paying for another child in that spot, or you include legal financial obligations you have...
  22. Ownership Rights: Re: Shared Driveway Rights of a Squatter Living in a Foreclosed Home

Here is your problem. They are squatters living in a home that does not belong to them. No matter what you say to them, they are not going to stop using the driveway. You can forbid them all you...

Child Care: Re: Can I Get Custody of My Baby Sister

If you were older, and both of the child's parent were gone, then you might possibly have a chance for custody or kinship placement. However, you are not and as long as the child has living parents...

Re: How can I terminate the parental rights of my daughter, who abandoned her daughte

You really cannot do it without an attorney. It's too complex of an issue, legally. You can get legal custody without an attorney, but terminating her parental right and adopting is an entirely...
  25. Rental Agreements: Re: Landlord Has Not Provided Us with Renewed Lease Copy

If the landlord did not provide you with a new lease then the language in the previous lease would be important as to the water bill.
