  1. Re: Are You Allowed to Record an Interview at Walmart in Alabama

If you are asking whether there is a law in Alabama (or any other state, for that matter) which guarantees you the right under the law to record a conversation no, there is not.

  2. Background Checks: Re: I Wasn't Offered a Position, but a Background Was Completed Regardless

If it comes to that, what kind of principle is it where you tell them you're interested when you really aren't?
  3. Background Checks: Re: I Wasn't Offered a Position, but a Background Was Completed Regardless

realbananas, you do not have a lawsuit here.

Accept it and move on with your life.
  4. Background Checks: Re: I Wasn't Offered a Position, but a Background Was Completed Regardless

So does my husband (who is Irish). In his family, it is tradition for the oldest son to be named James. My mother in law didn't like that name, so the compromise was that he was given the first name...

Re: Can I Give My Child More Than Three Names

My father and several of his brothers all used their middle names. I asked my grandfather once why that was, using my uncle Paul as an example.

"Well," he said, "we wanted to call him Paul, so we...

Behavior Issues: Re: Protecting Student from Threatening Classmate

I have a question. There is no right or wrong answer; the question is not intended to make light of your concerns - not in the slightest. It's to gauge the situation and will affect my response.

    I...

Animal Injuries and Dog Bites: Re: Out of State Claim

The woman did not ask permission to approach the dog and in fact, grinned her teeth at the dog which is a no no with dogs.

That's the best defense you've got?

Good luck. You're going to need it.
