What Happens Next
I'm 16 years of age, and live in Texas.
I've met all requirements of emancipation(removal of disabilities of minority), however there are no specific petition documents for a petition in the county of which I live.
Is there a certain template for petition forms? And, I'm uncertain on where I would take the petition, along with verifications, after completion.
I've spoken with a lawyer, who knows little about the procedure.
Would it be wise to set up an appointment with a judge and discuss the matter, if granted access?

Re: What Happens Next
You already asked about forms in somebody else's thread.
I very much doubt that you'll find a judge who is willing to talk you through the process. I expect your time would be much better spent trying to find a lawyer who understands emancipation law. But there's no law against trying.

Re: What Happens Next
I added information to that thread, which was left out. And that thread was about me, surprisingly enough. Only, I didn't feel the need to search for that thread in order to obtain answers that I need when I can simply post my own.
As for finding a judge, I'm not sure how it well turn out. That's why it was asked about. The lawyer consultation was free-only because he enjoys hearing himself talk.
As for the forms, I've typed them. However, I'm not sure if they're in the correct form.

Re: What Happens Next
You can't talk to a judge. They don't give private advice. If it is a case or issue before the judge or one that might be heard by that judge, it is an ex parte communication and NOT permitted. No judge will talk to you, nor will any give legal advice.
I doubt you have much chance of getting such an order in any case.

Re: What Happens Next
And we don't feel the need to answer questions in this thread that we have already provided in the other.
