Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts
I have filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and had it discharged I am wondering when you have filed bankruptcy and you had it discharged they give you a list of certain debts that are not dischargable but they will not tell you what debts they exactly discharged I am wondering this because it says court fines are not dischargable but I included in the bankruptcy when i filed and when I pull up my credit report it says discharged in bankruptcy or included in bankruptcy but when i call the collection agency over seeing the court fines they say it doesn't matter I have a discharged bankruptcy I still owe the money ???? so should I worry about paying the money or should I just forget it and wait till 2012 for this to fall off my credit report thats when it says it will come off there pretty old fines and they cannot suspend my licsense for these fines because they past a law in 2005 they cannot suspend your license for any fines and then they change it back the next year so i got lucky but it says it included in my bankruptcy and if i don't have to pay it i don't want too but I just cant understand why the bankruptcy court wouldn't give you a list of debts they discharge instead they gave you a list of what types of debts they do and do not discharge is there some way i can obtain the actually list of debts there were included that way i know for a fact what was and wasn't because of these traffic tickets are going to fall off my credit report in 2 years i see no reason to pay the court money at all lol you know what i mean lol
Re: Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts
Generally speaking, nondischargeable debts are exactly that. There have been some unusual cases where debts that should have been nondischargeable were discharged, but I have no way of knowing if those circumstances have any relevance to your case, and no way to find out. I doubt it.
Talk to your bankruptcy lawyer.
Re: Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts
We'll I didn't have a lawyer I went the cheap route and had a pro see do my paper work and only paid about $650.00 for the entire bankruptcy including the filing fee paper work and classes which through a lawyer was quoted over 2,000 bucks but anyways I tried to call a couple of lawyers and explain this to them and they don't want to give you the answer one said why are you asking a question you already know ???? if i knew the question i wouldn't be asking it and yes non dischargable debts are that what they are they cannot be discharged so I am thinking maybe because the court was not listed on the bankruptcy but the collection agency was listed on there for the amount maybe they did screw up because it was not listed as the court so by me telling the collection agency I might have snitched on my self and still the credit report still says included in the bankruptcy Its hard to figure out when you lawyers won't tell you these things lol
Re: Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts
If you don't hire a lawyer to tell you anything, it is hardly a surprise that the lawyer isn't telling you anything. We don't have the information to answer, you don't want to hire a lawyer, so you need to continue your self-representation and figure it out for yourself.
Re: Bankruptcy Discharge of Nondischargeable Debts
How are you able to speak for everyone one else "WE" no "YOU" don't know the answer to the question you can't no know the answer to a question and expect everyone to think your right just because you name is know it all. My question was simple so if you don't know the answer just don't reply to the question. Of course I don't want to hire a lawyer how many people you know hire lawyers for every stupid little problem they have. I paid a quater of what people normally pay lawyer to file a chapter seven bankruptcy. The only thing the lawyer does is help you through the three month waiting period and comfort you and assure you everything is done properly anyone with any sense can do there own bankruptcy. I do realize my question is probaly one of the most complicated questions out there but someone has to know there answer. I just want to know its not like this is needed because its life threatening either way I am in a better position because my bankruptcy has been discharged for seven months and my credit report says those court fines were included and will come off my credit report in 2012 will make seven years. Which me my credit can get better and they cannot re start this same debt on my credit report because there is a seven year limit they can still try to collect but they cannot place it back on the credit report. But I have continuously searched for my answer online I don't believe anybody has ever asked this question online (KEYWORD ONLINE) so it would probaly benefit not just me but more people in this situation. I have many more questions to ask if you think you can answer them i could ask you questions all day long about bankruptcy the things they don't tell you the ones they cannot answer

So when you asked the Trustee about this, what happened?
Ask your question over at this site
And please, you'll get far more people willing to help if you a) calm down a little and be less defensive, and b) try to use correct grammar and spelling.
Your posts are actually quite difficult to read.

Yes, you can ask your trustee questions. Of course the trustee will not give legal advice - but the trustee can, and often will, explain certain things about certain processes.
Try to re-read the posts - because quite clearly, I said absolutely nothing about the trustee giving you legal advice.
Now, wasn't that a nice try for you, too?
Oh, and you're welcome. I gave you a link to what is probably the most helpful bankruptcy forum on the internet.
