My question involves criminal law for the state of: Oklahoma
so I recently graduated but girlfriend is still in high school. I am not minor.
My girlfriend was sexually harassed last week, Friday. Her friends and I encouraged her to go to the principal. In the mean time, I got on facebook messaging him telling him to quit being stupid and back off, because I don't want to have to hurt him. Basically this guy is a prick and tells me he knows it all and everyone knew he was joking. I rant, he rants. Basically I give because I know the principal will deal with him, and I say "look I'm done. And you will get yours, but not from me." I only said all if that anyway to just make sure he keeps away from my girlfriend, to protect her from anymore sexual harassment. Stupid, I know, I can see now.
Because now the little turd is crying to his parents about it, and they are upset. Even though their kid was sexually harassing a girl. (yes, he is being dealt with).
My problem is what do I do. What will happen to me if I am charged. Can I be charged? (because I was thinking could it be said thy I was implying on like hurting his feelings? Because i've never been in a fight, no record, nothing)
help?
