    Theft of Services Employment
My question involves criminal law for the state of:Pennasylvania

a friend of mine owns her own buisness when I was laid off in December of 2009. She offered me work to help me out. I started working for her dec 15. The last day I worked was January 1, 2010.

Since then I have sent her multiple text messages and called her almost every day tring to get paid for the work I did. She told me she mailed it twice, I never got it and she only lives one town away. Last week she said she would meet me the Monday after Easter. She said that she would text or call me to set up a when and where. After I didn't hear anything from her I sent her a text telling her a time and place. I never heard back from her. So today I went to her home to pick up the check when I got there Boone answered the door. She owes me close to $500. It has been almost four months since this all started I know she has gotten paid from the bank she works for I was just wondering If I actually had a case. Thank you

If she owes you $500, try suing for that amount in small claims court.
