Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Information in Washington
I currently live in washington state and I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and had it discharged and now I am finding out that some of the creditors have not found out that I have a discharged bankruptcy I did make a complete effort to call each and everyone of my creditors and let them know I have filed bankruptcy and it has been discharged. also when I filed bankruptcy I was told by my pro see that there are certain debts that can't be discharged and I have about a 2,000 dollar court fine for traffic tickets from when I was a kid and some other fines from minor criminal effences that all add up to around 2,000 and the collection agency is saying I owe obver 3,000 which is crazy interest and so my prosee stil added it to the chaopter 7 bankruptcy so when i got my discharge from bankruptcy the court only gave me a list of what items they don't discharge and i called the bankruptcy court to find out what debts they did discharge and they told me they do not give out that type of information on what debts they don't discharge and what ones they do discharge and I asked how am I suppose to find this information out and they told me I need to speak to an attorney but on the paper they did give it says fines are not discharged through bankruptcy so I called the collection agency to let them know and they said ok this all will be noted but they said I still owe the money and I will have to pay it still I said ok whatever and so when I pulled up my credit report and I look at the fines that are listed on my credit report it says fines discharged in bankruptcy and are included in the bankruptcy and has a scheduled date of when they will quit reporting on it. I am not worrying about paying these fines because back in 2005 in washington state they past a law that says they cannot suspend your license for past due fines and then they change it back the next year which actually came to my benefit so I don't ever really have to worry about having to pay these fines unless I want to repair my credit report but thats another thing I have a question about if it says that this will stop being reported on my credit report on a certain date then will that actually come off my credit report even though I do not pay it or will they some how reset it and it will continue to be reported on my credit report. i do realize that there is a seven year thing where things are only suppose to be reported for only that amount of time but I heard creditors can re adjust it so it stays on your credit report even longer. And after my ten years the bankruptcy suppose to come off my record completely but will it actually come off my record or will i have to work my ass off calling the national credit bureas to have it removed and does anybody now where i can get a secured visa credit my bank and credit unions have a thing where you have to apply for a secured credit card i tried bank of america and it took a month for them to deny me and another month to send my money order back I actually am not working but i do have money coming in off unmeployment and the credit union BECU i got them to offer me a secured visa to help me rebuild my credit and they actually offered me one but they wanted me to show proof of work which i am not working so that wouldnt work very we'll so if someone can answer my questions that would be very helpful they you

if you are saying it states on your report that the fines are discharged through bankruptcy court.than they are.thats it ,no one can legally collect any money from you.as far as the credit card, whats the rush give it some time.eventually youll be getting plenty of card offers.oh and bankruptcy stays on your credit report 10 years.

We'll the only rush is I want to rebuild build my credit before I die lol. But I under the bankruptcy laws one of the thigs that are not dischargable are court fines but when I look at my credit report it says included in bankruptcy its good it says this don't get me wrong but did they make a mistake or what????????

I also wanted to know about my credit report at the end of each creditior it tells you a estimated date this item will be removed and has a date like 07/2012 will this item actually be removed even if its not paid or can they reset the date and repost it on your credit report and start the 7 years over again
