Which Visa Should My Company Apply for Me, H1b or Green Card
My company wants to apply for H1B visa for me and we are currently in the process of filing it. However, I did some research and I found that I can get a green card through a job offer here:

If this is true, I would rather apply for the green card than the H1B visa. Can anyone tell me what is the main difference in terms of processing and which visa is easier to obtain?
I am currently on F-1 visa
Thank you

What are you asking? If you can ask your employer if they will sponsor you for an employment-based Green Card, whether now or in the future? Sure, why not?
Re: Which Visa Should My Company Apply for Me H1b or Green Card
In order for an employer to sponsor someone for a green card, they must prove that there are no qualified and willing US workers desiring the job. Given that you are currently a student, it would be very easy to find someone similarly qualified. Given the economy, there will likely be dozens if not more qualified and willing workers. The likelihood of a GC for you at this time is slim to none.
