Mobile Home Found on Recently Purchased Land
My question involves real estate located in the State of: MICHIGAN
We have recently purchaced a vacant lot in Michigan's U.P. After receiving the deed we had a survay done to the property to find there is a mobile home upon our land. It is pad locked and has been abandended for servral years. We believe the property next to us is the owner. ( As the property to our other side is owned by a our family. The owner of the the property who this mobile home may belong to has been deceased for two years and the land is going up for auction due to tax forclosure next year. No realitives are listed on the deed as wife of this owner is also deseased. Is there any way to claim the mobile home? If so how? The address on the mobile home and its mailbox by the road is the offical address for our property as listed on our deed? Or can we move the mobile home as this mobile home was never disclosed to us during the sale of the property through a real estate agent. Thank you.

Manufactured homes are titled in Michigan. There's no quick and easy way to get the title out of somebody else's name and into yours. If you can identify the owner through the Secretary of State, you'll be in a position to try to acquire title (or require removal).
