So I was caught stealing at best buy today. Technically I never took the item out of the store, and when the employee did catch me I offered to pay for the item and then did pay for it, with her right next to me.
They made me sign a paper saying I was banned, then the cops came and they asked me questions they took my name and address down from my license but when I asked what they would do the cop said it was up to him to do anything with my name, he said he wouldn't.
Should I expect anything in the mail?
yes I learned my lesson!
