Minor in Possession in Georgia

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia OK, i was pulled over in flowery branch for a window tint violation, the cop breathalyzed me and i blew .01, so i was given a minor in possession, and they let one of my friends drive that didn't blow anything, i went to court didn't get to plea and they told me to come back on a later date for a bench trial, i have a previous underage consumption and i really don't want probation. i would just like to know if i get a lawyer will i still get the same charges.

I would definitely consult a lawyer. I doubt that the PBT device the police used is accurate at a .01 reading - usually the machines, if properly maintained, have a margin of error in the range of +/- .01.

Consult with an attorney, as instructed. With a previous MIP on your record, that's really your best option.
