    Adjustment of Status Thru Marriage
    hi, I live in florida.
I am in removal proceeding after my request for asylum was denied and my court date has already being set. I recently married a permanent resident who will become citizen very soon. this happened after my wife that I left in my counmtry obtained divorce.
the problem now is that when applying for the Visa to come to US, i said on the application that I was married to someone else (my girlfriend of the time with whom I wasnt really married) because I had problems with my wife. but when applying for asylum, i said I was married with my wife since I needed a marriage certificate to be attached,
I would like to know what would happen in case my wife that I married here tries to apply for me for adjustment of status.
how can I handle this problem of two different information given

Lying on your visa paperwork is grounds for deportation.

You need to go talk to an immigration attorney before you even consider applying to adjust status.
