My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
Last year I recieved a MIP on U of M campus completed the probation and alcohol classes and it is off my record. A couple weeks ago I got another MIP on U of M campus and was wondering if it will be seen as a first offense again?
No. The court, probation department and prosecutor will be aware of your prior offense.
So would you know what kind of punishment I'll be facing? I have a job lined up in North Carolina for the summer and was wondering if the probation I get will allow me to leave the state or what?
