First Offender, Possession/Use of Marijuana in Michigan

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

First of all, I am a minor. This is my first offence with the possession/use of marijuana and my first encounter with the police. Here is the story:

I was in a car with a few friends. They had marijuana and there were about 2 grams in the backseat where I was seated at the time. I was searched, but did not physically have any illegal substances on me, and I was put into handcuffs into the back of a cop car. I was taken to the police station where I was fingerprinted, and I had my grandpa pick me up from the police station afterwards.

The police did not say anything to me. They give me a ticket and I have a court date. I am absolutely clueless about what I am supposed to do, but I have to handle this on my own.

Plead not guitly and ask about a diversion programs,something like youthful offender or 7411.

Is there any way to predict the sum of the fines I will be facing? There was no indication of that printed on my ticket.

By "a minor" do you mean that you're 17 or older? Or do you mean that you're under 17 and charged in juvenile court?

They don't print fines for crimes on your appearance notice. Your fines and assessments are determined as part of your sentence.

I am 16, but I don't know if I am charged in juvenile court.
