On the Run for Drug Charges
My question involves criminal law for the state of: new jersey..Ive been on the run for 3 years now for a drug charge. i was wondering if there was a time limit. ive been working and havent been arrested or in trouble since ive been on the run. I was sentenced and let out on subens law and my lawyer stopped answering and ever since then ive been on the run. thanks if you have any advice.

Just to clarify:
You were arrested for the drug charge, prosecuted and convicted (or plead guilty). You were incarcerated, then you were let out on "subens law." After you were let out, you fled. Is that right? And if it is right, please explain what subens law is.
And what do you mean by your "lawyer stopped answering?" Do you mean he stopped answering your calls? Or he stopped replying to police inquiries on your behalf? Or what?
