My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ontario Canada
Hello, in october of 2008, I was charged with shoplifting. When I went to court I plead guilty, As I had done it and felt bad. I received a conditional discharge with 50 hrs community service (which I completed in april 2009)
Im just curious because many posts on here say that a conditional discharge becomes a absolute discharge once the terms of you discharge become complete, is this true? or do you have to have received an absolute discharge from the courts at the time of sentencing? Sorry if this is a stupid question, Im just feeling a little dumb. thank you very much for your time
