I think the OP is either wanting us to do their homework for them or lay out possible court defenses for them.

You have to realize that a judge, upon hearing your theory here, is going to either roll her/his eyes and/or simply laugh and convict you. .

Again you have lost me in your point. I fail to see anything humorous about my situation. If a judge were to laugh I would think that to be grounds for disbarment. I have seen court processions previously, I myself am a student considering law school. I'm going to stop browsing this thread and wait until I talk to an attorney, I believe I have all the information I could gather from here.

My case has nothing to do with what I agree and disagree with. I intend to prove a reasonable man would have acted exactly as I had in my given situation. Whatever your wishes or inclinations, or the dictum of your feelings, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. I very much realize how many of the facts work against me, but I do intend to do whatever is in my power to reveal the truth in its entirety.

    @ Security Consultant
It is true my initial intention here was to hear possible court defenses, but I see now I must rely on sources elsewhere. I come here humbled, looking for answers, and I am met primarily with scorn and distemper. To all of you who looked past your feelings, I will take your advice with utmost gratitude.

You would be wrong. Seriously - do you honestly think that expressing emotion is reason enough to cause the judge's removal?! Do you really think that judges have never snickered, smirked or laughed before?

And the truth is, you intended to steal the goods. It really IS that simple.

    You intended to steal goods.

Why do you believe you deserve special treatment?

Because, somehow, the OP still believes she was in some sort of "not stealing yet" zone and thinks that if she says, "But, your honor" long and hard enough, someone will buy it.

OP, I would choose a different line of work. Not only because what a criminal record could do to your chances, but also because you are a moron.

I think what all of us need to do is this:

Tell Original Poster the best advice:
    - Plead Not Guilty
    - Ask for a Public Defender
    - See if he/she qualifies.

Beyond that....who wants to help someone with no sign of remorse? This person is not taking responsibility for his/her actions, keeps changing the story...so why listen to/dispel any more of this persons B.S. logic?

    Dear RepentingCitizen:
    SHUT UP ALREADY!
People on this forum have already told you several times that concealing an item is a FORM OF THEFT! Even I typed it out myself. What the **** does it take for you to understand that this mess could have been prevented? You could have paid for the items like a law abiding citizen!
You said you had the $$$$, so why the **** didn't you pay for them in the first place?

Also, if I remembered correctly, socks are packaged in bags and can't be removed at all. You just need to exercise your brain to figure out which size fits the best. YOU are wasting everyone's time by defending your actions.

People in this forum are trying to *****in help you and they do have a choice of whether or not to answer you! Heck, everyone including myself can ignore you and move on to someone who really needs the answers.

I'm sorry if I'm including ***** and blurring out swear words, but this poster is really grinding my gears.
