My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California
I received my last check on Sat. and this is what I received today in the mail.
""your claim for the emergency unemployment compensation extension is not allowed on your regular claim dated 10/04/2009......because you do not have earnings in excess of 40 times your weekly benefit amount or 1.5 times the highest quarter in the base period of your regular claim dated 10/04/2009"
What do the #'s mean? Who could possibly be eligible if I myself -- nothing special about me-- is not? The handbook explains NOTHING. It says the same thing in the notice I got.
Thanx in advance
