PLease help. I got apprehended for shoplifting at Target. I ran. I gave back the merchandise and ran. I was parked in the front so I am almost positive they got my plates. What should I do? Should I go back ? My friend didnt run and cooperated. Please Help. Thank you.
I'd ask your friend what they said after you took off....you still might get a knock on the door.
Okay...so they would still get the police involved if it was under 30 dollars? And my friend was an employee at Target...will it be worse for her? Will the police just come at any time? And is it true that they can hold me in Juvinille FOR UP TO TEN DAYS....thats what the laywer we consulted said...much thanks again
If your friend works there or USED to work there, LP will probably interview her and get what ever info needed. They may contact you and even take you in but I can't see holding you for 10 days over $30.
