Habitual Felon Law for North Carolina
My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Carolina
Can anyone shed some light on the habitual felon law of NC as it pertains to minimum sentencing? I'm asking because someone I used to know was convicted of several felony charges at age 18 then again at age 22 (served prison time for the second crimes, about 1 year total) and I'd like to know how much time he would receive if convicted of another felony.
I've scoured the Internet and can't find any information. Figured there would be some experienced legal researchers on this forum. Thanks.
