Spoof Paypal Scams
just want to heads up anyone using CL & paypal
here is the scam..
criminals poses as either buyers Or sellers (use seller in this example)
FAKE buyer is eager to purchase item with very little info or sight unseen.
They go for jewelry, rare coins etc..
then they want your PayPal account to send you the $$$
here is the SCAM....you will get a SPOOF email from PayPal saying "your funds have been deposited".... & the address to send the item .. Which will most likely be in another country like Malayasia.
PS: the email from the sellers are usually weird in language & ramble about meaningless details...
.
DONE...your item is gone & no money for you...

You should, of course, verify any such email by logging into your account - and not by following links in the email. Type the URL into the navigation bar, so you can be sure you're at the real site.
