I-485 and Proof Physically Present 12-21-2000
I need some advice; I applied last year for I-485 adjustment of status; I had the interview and the officer told me that there was a fine for $ 1000 missing. My lawyer and I were in shock. I paid and last week got a letter that I need to provide a 'proof that I was physically present on December 21st of 2000'. I have gathered my school records for that semester fall 2000 and Spring 2001. I have also got my grades and a document that says fall semester ended on 12-21-2000 (all in sealed envelopes from my school). I got a paycheck for nov16-dec 1 2000 (dated dec 8) from my employer and my W2. Finally, I have my rent receipts (handwritten), and thinking to have it notarized; I still keep in touch with my old roomate. My lawyer says he wants to pick one proof. Is it ok to send them all? Should we send all? This is my last chance.... PLEASE PLEASE advice :-) Looking forward to hear all your responses. Thank you!!

As you're represented by an immigration lawyer, my inclination is to avoid second-guessing the advice of your lawyer.
