PPO Blackmail
I receieved a PPO against my dad - for putting his hands on me, and my sis - for trying to run me over and pushing me.
My sis is a preschool teacher, so they want me to drop it for that reason
I live in a house which I rent from my dad - I have a lease - he has always paid utlilites and such. He said if I didn't drop it, he would turn off the utilities and take my car (which he bought for me 5 years ago). Is this legal?
I did try to get them dropped b.c I am 9 mos preg and can't live w/o utilities - but when I was aksed why I wanted them dropped, bc I had just gotten them, I told the truth - about the utilities - so the judge wouldn't drop them. Now, I have to go to court 2moro and I don't know what the right thing is to do???

Re: Now PPO Blackmail
Is the payment of the utilities in the lease? No he may not turn them off.
In whose name is the car titled? If he's on the title, he may take it whenever he pleases.
