Is Something Missing from the Order
During the Child Support Hearing the Hearing Officer ordered the NCP to pay 1/2 of the medical bills. I was ordered to send the bills to the NCP, and if NCP failed to pay within a set timeframe, then we'd go back to court and the amount would be added to the total support.
Sent the bills as ordered and they total several thousand dollars. After much waiting, I just got a copy of the written orders, and nothing is annotated in the written order about the medical bills.
Do I ask the court to be add it, or do I wait for the NCP to default?
Re: Is Something Missing from the Order
The copy you received, is that the final order? Typically, if it's not written in the order, it doesn't exist, so if that isn't the final copy (with signatures from both parties and the presiding official) then you need to send it back to be corrected. Otherwise the ex is essentially off the hook.
Re: Is Something Missing from the Order
Thank you. Since CSE filed the case I've written a letter to them requesting that the order be corrected. Something didn't feel right about it.
