    Auto Accident, Not at Fault
I was in a car accident (in CA) where I was making a left turn and the other driver rounded a corner (there was no oncoming traffic until the driver pulled onto the road) and hit me after I had almost completed my turn. My question is, who would be determined to be at fault in that situation or would it be a split fault situation?

He rounded what corner, going in what direction relative to you? No traffic controls at the intersection? The collision occurred where in the roadway? What part of his car hit what part of your car? One traffic lane in each direction, no turn lanes? Or what?

The driver made a right turn into the street, I was making a left into a parking lot from the center median. Started my turn b/c oncoming traffic was clear, he turned into the street b/c traffic was clear but didn't see that I had already turned. Hit my passenger side front corner, his driver side corner. 2 lanes, we hit in the lane closest to the parking lot.

And the driveway you were turning into is how far away from the intersection where the other person turned?

I dont know. If I had to guess I'd say the stop sign was maybe 3 car lengths away.
