Harsh Sentencing in Colorado
I got a DUI in Colorado and was sentenced to the maximum, 12 Months in Jail with no probation. There was no accident. I enrolled in alcohol rehab and took other responsible steps, but the judge didn't care. Everybody else gets probation and alcohol classes. I got 12 months in jail instead and that's ridiculous. There's a lot of KKK activity in this county. That's unacceptable and so that's why I needed to leave the state, because of that I have an additional Misdemeanor charge from the same place. How is this going to be removed and is Colorado going to go to the extreme and try to extradite me from another state? If so, how do you fight it, and why are the authorities in counties like this not being held accountable for what they are trying to do to people?
There are people in this jail that are being killed with tazor guns and people that are starving to death because of malnurishment, sleep deprevation, and other psycho terror. Meanwhile this is a made for profit institution. The fact that people are making a profit off of the suffering of others is sickening and the fact that judges are going to excess and not upholding what they where sworn to do is wrong. That's why I'm justified.
Re: Harsh Sentencing in Colorado
I think it's safe to infer that your prior record is playing a significant role in your sentence.
How is what going to be 'removed'?
Are you telling us you've skipped the state to run away from your sentence and the pending charge? I doubt that Colorado would extradite for a DUI, but that's their decision to make. You can expect that you won't be able to get a driver's license until you resolve these issues.
Re: Harsh Sentencing in Colorado
Yeah more than likely your previous criminal record is playing a part of either there is a lot more to this story. Running will not do you a lot of good. You will get picked up eventually and then the headaches will begin.
