How to Get Out of Illinois Graduated License Suspension
Can I fight this Illinois License Suspension?
I received my second ticket as a graduated license driver in the state of illinois 2 months ago. Today I received a letter stating that my license had been suspended for 3 months and that i had driving restrictions for 6. The thing is when i received my ticket (in Mchenry County) The only options were to take it to traffic court (not option, would have lost due to speeding over 15 miles an hour), pay the ticket, or go to traffic school (if you were over the age of 18; i was currently 17). It wasnt till later after paying the ticket did i learn that a friend of mine who is also from illinois received a ticket in illinois and was able to go to traffic school, was put on driving probation, and his ticket was wiped from his record.
IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN FIGHT THIS?
There was no option to go to traffic school and I am wondering if i can somehow get out of this suspension, even though the court date is long past. Is there anything i can do?

A long shot would be to have a lawyer try to convince a prosecutor to set aside your conviction and let you opt for traffic school.
