Caught with Marijuana After a Car Accident

i recently go in a car accident with my friend and was caught with marijuana and a homemade pipe. everything was in my purse and it was zipped shut. but the police still searched my stuff. all we got was a sitation. when we picked up the car later, everything that was in my bag was spilled all over the backseat. i didnt get my rights read to me then but when we went to pick up the car the next day the cop that sited me, read me my rights when he saw me. i dont really know whats going on. but i nedd to figure this out. what will happen if i get convicted? will i only get probation and have to pay fines? all this happen 6 days after i turned 18.
