Parents Stop Contact with Friend
My question involves restraining orders in the State of: illinois
I have a friend that i talk to via phone and hang out with. recently the parents said that he dont want me talking to her or seeing her, they got the wrong impression about me and they might think im dating her. we both want to continue talking/seeing each other however. is there anything the parents can have issued to stop us from talking or hanging out? im 20 and shes 16, completely plutonic, non-sexual relationship.

First, spend some time learning how to speak your mother tongue.
Second, stay away from the child. Her parents are her law... and will be upheld in every court in the land.
You won't win... there is nothing you can say to a judge that will allow you to continue a relationship with a minor that her parents have said no to.
Now... a visit from Unca Jeffy...
I am the father of a 16 year old girl. If I knew this was going on and demanded it to stop and it did not, I would go out of my way to make your life hell.
First, I would try to get a restraining/no contact order against you on the grounds that you are encouraging my daughter to disobey her parents. That way, the next time you call OR SHE CALLS YOU, you get to go to prison.
Then, I would find out where you work and talk to your boss about your love of children and inability to take "HELL NO" for an answer.
Then, I would talk to your neighbors about your activities. I guarantee the pot luck suppers in the neighborhood would take on a whole different flavor.
You are playing with fire... and you will get burned.

Of course there is. The law is 100% on Mom and Dad's side here. As long as your friend is under 18, she is under the care and control of her parents. They have complete and total say over who she can and cannot talk to, e-mail, text message, slip notes to via a friend, or contact in any way possible up to and including smoke signals. The law will back them up 100% of the time. They have all the rights here; you (and your friend) have none. If Mom and Dad say no, it's no. End of story.
