221 G Blue Form - What's Next
Hi,
I've attended visa interview in Hyderabad/India on 12/03 for my Visa renewal, I've worked in US for approx 2.5 years and have all the paystubs, w2 etc.., The VO has kept my passport, DS-156, 157, receipt and said that they need to do some admin processing and asked me to check the status online.
It has been a week and the case still shows as pending, the 221g blue form handed over to me does not ask me to submit any documents as none of the check boxes are ticked.
What will be the next step in my case? Do I need to do anything and where/how can I contact them?
Any information will be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have any sense of why the USCIS is skeptical of your employment, or that your job constitutes qualifying work? Have you been in touch with your employer to see if the problem's on their end?

Thanks for your reply.
The officer asked me what is the purpose of visit to US, I told him I work for XX company, he recognized the company and even told the competitor name, he was like I know xx, yy and then asked me what is the nature of the work, I told him I do so and so, then he did not ask any questions and said that he needs to do some admin processing and asked me the check the status online in 3 working days, I've been checking since then and it says pending, I even sent out an email to HydNIV@state.gov 3 days ago asking for status but no reply from them.
I've all the tax documents, bank statements, employment verification letter from the company, all pay stubs for the past 2.5 yrs, but the officer did not ask for anything even the blue form given to me does not ask for any document.
My question is, will it help if I get the attorney of my company involve, is there any way to expedite the process of verification as I have to leave by Dec 31st?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again
