Obstructing a Government Office
I live in Phoenix but was charged in Boulder, Colorado (work in Boulder) for Obstruction of Governmental Office which is a Class C misdemeanor. Basically, I was held in an Alcohol Recovery Center, was mistreated and was taken to prison with charges of attempting to break a window(absolutely false).
My court date is for Dec 15, 2009. What possible sentence can I expect?
I'm planning to represent myself, plead not guilty, ask the Judge if I could explain my side of the story and hope to get the charges dismissed.

Charging decisions belong to the prosecutor, not the court. If you want to present your side to a court and have the court render a verdict, that's called a trial. You really should be working with a lawyer.
