Consumption Misdemeanor With Two Prior City Ordinance Violations
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois

I live in a college town and have manage to get caught by the police multiple times for under age drinking. I am currently 20 and have received two "Notice of Ordinance Violation" tickets. One was for under age possession of alcohol and the other was for under age consumption. Both tickets were on separate occasions. The ordinance violations say that there will not be a report made to the secretary of state. I have paid both of them, so I assume they are not on my record.

Unfortunately those two ordinances did not stop me from drinking. Another party got busted and someone thought it would be a good idea to be a jackass to the cops. Instead of a ordinance violation, I received a misdemeanor complaint for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

I have been told by friend and the judge at city hall that it is possible for me to lose my licenses for over 3 months. I know other people who have gotten this ticket and have gotten away with taking alcohol classes. My question is, will the judge see my two ordinance tickets and what are the chances he will let me keep my licenses.

I gave my ticket to an attorney that has been recommended to me several times. I only talked to the assistant when I was paying for the attorney fees, so I don't really know what to expect, but I will be represented by a reputable attorney in court.

The judge won't be pulling up your record. The prosecutor will do that. Particularly if this is all in the same county, and all under the same prosecuting authority, I would expect the prosecutor to be aware of your record. That could have a significant impact on how the prosecutor treats your case and whether you're able to avid a license suspension.

Underage Drinking violation while camping in Yosemite, CA
    Dear Experts,
I received a Minor in Possession when I was 19. We were in Mariposa County on a camping trip. They police did one test to check our sobriety. We had a bobbing cooler in the bed of the truck with beer in it. I was a passenger. There were no open containers inside the truck. They gave all of us Minor in possession tickets. Mine was for $275. I mailed a check in the same week that I got home. I have not heard from the court since I received my fine. They did not say anything about community service or taking our licenses away. They said once we pay the fine the ticket should clear from our records.

How do I find out if the MIP is on my record and how can I clear it?
