Providing Proof
i was running an online business a couple of years ago and one individual is now going around claiming fraud, posting up my personal information including home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, pictures, etc. i also believe he somehow got access to my emails when this first started as many of my emails have gone missing.
since i can print a majority of the info, can i sue him for slander?
when it comes to suing for slander, will i also have to prove that i did not commit any type of fraud causing him to slander me?

Re: Providing Proof
Laws vary by state. In a defamation case it's normally up to you to prove that the statements are false. If he's accusing you of criminal acts, in many states that would constitute defamation per se and reverse the burden of proof, such that he would have to prove that his statements were true.
If the statements are true, you're probably going to make things worse for yourself by suing.
