Disorderly Conduct Charge - What's Next
My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Dakota.
Boyfriend-gone-bad situation. We dated for 5 months. He started getting really suspicious of me and accusing me of cheating. (No, I didn't, not that it matters.) He physically threatened me twice. He would make 20 calls a day to my phone. E-mails would range from "i'm sorry" to more disturbing physical threats. I called the local police department, who filed a report. I successfully got a 2-year restrating order against him. Then, he started sending vulgar and threatening e-mails to my current boyfriend (we work at the same place), as well as my boss. Accuations range from harming me to posting and sending videos and pix he claims he has of us. Nothing has been found or received yet. I've given all phone records, e-mails and records of him contacting me to law enforcement.
As a result of the police report, there was an arrest warrent issued for Disorderly Conduct and he is being arrested either today or tomorrow. I've been in close contact with local law enforcement throughout this whole process.
My question is now what? What could happen? Jail for him? Could he bail out? Court? Will I need to go to court and defend myself?
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

What do you mean "to defend yourself" - he's the one charged with a criminal offense, not you.
If he posts bail, which is likely, he will be out. If he doesn't plea bargain, the case will go to trial and you will be called as a witness.
