Aggravated Battery
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
I need advice. I have a friend who is charged with aggravated battery. He says he grabbed an already injured wrist of an ex-girlfriend. Out of anger the mother took her daughter to the police, who told her to go to the hospital for proof. This was days after the assault. As a result he has to take anger management. He see's his probation officer but has not paid her or his first time felon fee or any other fee's due to the fact that he is unemployed. He has a court date coming up in a few days, i just want to get a heads on what he could possibly be facing. Or what can or should he do?

Re: Aggravated Battery
His court hearing is a probation violation hearing, for failing to pay his court assessments? He should try to come up with the money, for starters.
