Controlled Substance Paraphernalia and My Career
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
I was arrested June 7th 2009, I was 18/still am.
I had a marijuana pipe on me and have already been sentenced etc. I have a year of probation, i had a 4 week long drug class, community service and 1 month drug tests.
I have been looking at my order of probation and it says that my offense is, "Possession of paraphernalia poss of controlled substance par"
I also remember them giving me some kind of first offender deal, I don't remember what it was exactly just thought I'd throw it out there.
It is worded just like that, my question is what is the difference between the two?/Do I have more than one conviction on my record?/Will this affect me becoming a Firefighter (EMT/Paramedic).
Thankyou
Re: Controlled Substance Paraphernalia and My Career
You would have to tell us your conviction charge (MCL number) and disposition (Does "7411" ring a bell) for us to be able to explain your disposition to you.
A marijuana charge may well affect your ability to be a EMT or paramedic.
