My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Ohio

I have (Father) physical and sole custody in another state.Mother lives in Ohio and has visitation. Because of Ohio laws with mother automatically having sole custody in Ohio.Even though I have custody in another state does the mother have custody or more right to the child once the child is in Ohio?

What law do you believe automatically gives a mother custody in Ohio?

Ohio is obligated to obey a valid out-of-state custody and visitation order.

What ever state has the current CO, THAT is the state who's statutes you follow.

You are VERY mistaken to say that Ohio "automatically" favors mothers.

The Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act is a national law that makes custody and visitation decrees accepted across state lines in the same way that a marriage or driver's license from one state is upheld and honored in another state. The exception to this rule is Massachusetts and Vermont; they have not yet adopted the act, according to the quasi-reliable Wikipedia. If your custody order states that you are the sole custodian, then that fact does not change just because your child travels out of state.
