Wife Take All Home Equity from Home Before Filing for Divorce
My question involves divorce in the State of:California
My wife takes $155,000 from the home equity on August 23.
I never knew about it and a second signature was not required.
she then files papers last week. California assets and debt are split 50 50
Why would you take the money then have to return the other half during the divorce proceeding. The husband puts his money back into the house he is keeping and the wife has incurred debt. I was told she got some bad advice.
whats your take. Any advice would be appreciated.

Who do you think advised her to do this?

Are you stating that the court ordered her to return half of the money? If so, it should all balance out by the end.

My attorney is asking the court to have her return 100 percent of the money. I have enough money that I can give her in retirement so I will not need to use my home equity.
He told me it looks bad for her in front of the judge to take the money, do not tell your husband then move out and leave the kids. I'll know more today. It might be an injunction
    he is filing.
