Getting Court-Ordered Counseling for PAS (Parental Alienation Syndrome)
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Illinois
I feel I am the Target-Parent of Parental Alienation syndrome and I would like to petition the court for Court ordered child counseling and parenting counseling for both her and I.
Is this even possible and what would be the correct way to word this form of a request? I have not had contact with my children in 60 days which is in violation of my visitation and I am crrently laid off so I cant afford representation at this present time.

Don't use the terminoloy: PAS. It has been discredited.
Have you attempted to pick up the children for visitation?

They are in another state so I cant just go pick them up but what do you think would be the correct terminology to use? In my situation, PAS explain exactly the symptoms I see in both my children and the custodial parent!

If you want a mental health diagnosis, you need to have it made by a mental health professional. You can raise issues of conduct to the court, and see how the court interprets them and what remedies the court deems appropriate.

If you don't even attempt to exercise your visitation it would be difficult for you to get anywhere in court at all.
