Your attorney (or you, if the court has agreed to allow you to represent yourself) can always submit those statements as part of your "evidence." But, the PI - and anyone else with anything to say - would still have to take the stand if it goes to trial.

I thought that same way too once, an aquital is never a given.

UPDATE:

OK Its been 3 weeks since I got arrested for DV. Apparently my soon to be former spouse, and the GF who actually made the red marks on here neck. has gone to the DA, and told the truth... (so I Hear), I have not spoken to her.

I know 148, 273.5, are the possible charges she may face, What other charges are the looking at?

I know that 1204 expunges convictions, but what about arrest records, DNA samples, when you were the victim, and got arrested.

When you get to the big house, you can say hi to all the other inmates that thought they would get off. You yourself said the officer did not take any physical evidence pictures. So either you are dreaming, or you haven't told us the full story.

Well what I am not saying is that USUALY a cop who cant do a simple investigation, USUALY does not know how to write a report either. This "Cop" fortunately made these mistakes in front of a deputy from another department. And an 8 year old could have done a better job at spelling.

When I do make it to the big house, I probably won’t get to say hi, because I will probably be ADSEG, because of a former law enforcement background, then again I'm not sure of the classification process in the prison system.
