You seem to think that this is something they are deliberately holding up on just to screw with you. There are probably decision makers at several levels involved in this. It's not a decision that a responsible employer makes all in a minute. But I can promise you, if you keep pestering them for an answer RIGHT NOW, the answer is going to be, So long and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

No one made the decision to act like an idiot but you. If the consequences of your actions mean having to wait for an employer to make a decision, and if they don't want to make an immediate decision just to satisfy your impatience, whose fault is that? (HINT - Not the employer's.)

    I fully understand that.

and I just got rejected based on the policies.

well, I'm not taking my life here. There's still some hope for the second job and I tried to call the lady before I submitted the background information stuff but she won't pick up. I feel like I will start working and get fired in a day or two. What the hell is the point.

I almost wish I could just plead guilty to misdemeanor tresspass or somethin right now and get it over with. On the job I got rejected I can't reapply for a year so forget that.

one thing I don't get. I got the offer and everything but they never explained to me why the offer was rescinded. I was not convicted of a crime? They won't tell me manager why I can't be hired and they didn't tell me why I cant be hired. Can I request an explanation?

You can ask, but they are under no obligation at all to tell you.

Well I told them about it at my second job and they had no problem with it. I did receive and started the second job by the way which is IT sales. I just wonder what really disqualified me from the first job...
